Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Ball Review
It’s no surprise that all golfers are created equal. Some are born with the ability to crush every ball dead center down the fairway every time, and others make more slices than a pizzeria (that’s as good as my jokes get, folks). For those of you who are somewhere in between, be it golfers with slow swings and small budgets, the Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Ball is an awesome choice.
The Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Ball is one of the better choices for novice golfers who want a quality ball for their skill set, or for a talented golfer looking to save a few bucks. In terms of features, this ball has a two-layer structure. The inner layer is composed of a soft-core, which is 20% softer than last year’s model. The soft core allows for an easier strike and longer distance for slow-swinging golfers, without sacrificing low spin and launch.
The Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Ball outer layer is 11% thinner and 5% softer than last year’s model, further exemplifying the low compression theme. The outer layer also features a new dimple design, for more improved aerodynamics for straighter ball flight.
The Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Ball has become one of our favorite balls here at The Shack. While low priced golf balls have a stigma for being low quality, we try to focus on the value that a golf ball brings. Unless these golf balls fall apart on the first shot, the price for a dozen of these bad boys makes these a great value choice. If you’re the type of golfer itching to get those few extra yards on your drives, then it might be worth it for you to drop a Ulysses S. Grant on a dozen golf balls. But if you’re like most golfers who want a great set of golf balls while still having money leftover for a round in the clubhouse post-18, then the Srixon Soft Feel 2016 Golf Balls are an excellent choice.
